The New Mexico Open Educational Resources Consortium Program, led by the University of New Mexico (UNM), aims to enhance equitable education through the use of openly licensed educational materials. This initiative builds on state investments such as the NM Opportunity Scholarship and the NM Lottery Scholarship. The NMOER Consortium will provide free or low-cost textbooks aligned with the New Mexico General Education Curriculum, benefiting both educators and students by making education more accessible and affordable.
