12 Some Last Words

Perhaps the most valuable thing you can do to become an accomplished speaker is to speak often. The more you practice and speak in front of groups, the more skilled you will become. In many ways, public speaking is akin to playing a sport. While reading books about playing tennis can help you understand the game, doing so is ultimately less valuable than actually getting out there and whacking the ball regularly. This concept holds for becoming a better speaker. Seek out speaking opportunities and gain experience to hone your skills.
I wish you all the best in your future speaking endeavors.
