LECCIÓN 1: En la clínica
Description
Para este capítulo introductorio al libro, hemos querido identificar tareas que se corresponden con la realidad de las relaciones interpersonales que se llevan diariamente a cabo entre personal médico y pacientes. Empezamos, por tanto, enfatizando la importancia del comienzo de una buena comunicación entre interlocutores a la hora de comprender y usar formas de saludo y despedida usadas, reconocidas y aceptadas culturalmente al contexto médico para crear una comunidad y ambiente de confianza, respeto y cercanía. Algunos ejemplos del tipo de actividades de práctica en este capítulo son: 1. Efectuar una llamada telefónica para hacer una cita médica, 2. compartir nuestras dolencias y preocupaciones con proveedores de salud, 3. rellenar formularios. Hemos diseñado actividades para que practique en varios modos de comunicación: actividades de comprensión auditiva y lectora a modo de interpretar su contenido, y actividades de presentación oral y escrita y actividades interpersonales al hablar y escribir en español. A continuación, un resumen de objetivos más concretos del capítulo a través de una secuencia estructurada de actividades.
Lección 1 Goals and Objectives
El objetivo principal de este capítulo es la realización de tareas involucradas a la hora de llevar a cabo un examen físico a grandes rasgos tratando dolencias y enfermedades de uso cotidiano como son los resfriados, gripes y dolores estomacales. A través de la involucración en todas las actividades que se presentan en este capítulo, al final del capítulo podrás ser capaz de llevar a cabo las siguientes tareas (ver tabla a continuación con objetivos en inglés) según varias modalidades de comunicación y parámetros de representación lingüístico-cultural en español (funciones/tareas, contexto/contenido, tipo de texto, control gramatical, vocabulario, estrategias de comunicación y competencia intercultural):
- FUNCIONES/TAREAS: Cubrir formularios, formular-responder preguntas frecuentemente hechas durante visitas al doctor, describir y expresar sentimientos o estados de ánimo.
- GRAMÁTICA: verbo/expresión “doler¨- “tener dolor”, ser y estar, presente de indicativo (verbos regulares e irregulares).
- VOCABULARIO: palabras y expresiones comunes en situaciones de citas a clínicas y temas de tratamiento de enfermedades comunes tales como resfriado, gripes, dolores de cabeza y estómago entre otros.
