Introduction: Why This Matters
K–12, allied health, and human services professionals all share a responsibility to create environments where LGBTQIA+ individuals are respected, affirmed, and able to thrive. These resources are designed to support educators, healthcare providers, and service professionals in building cultural competence, fostering belonging, and dismantling the systemic barriers that affect LGBTQIA+ people. Whether in a classroom, a clinic, or a community organization, inclusive practice is not an extra—it is essential.
